Just got back from Western Farm show 2017 looking at some cool tools, attachments, and tractors! In case you aren’t local to Kansas City or missed it, here are 50 pictures I took at the event.
I like to cover this event because most of this equipment is fabricated out of metal to solve problems, especially in farming. Sometimes you have to get creative to get the job done and the Western Farm Show is a great way to get some ideas or buy a product that solves issues you might be having. The Western Farm Show also has many booths showcasing tools for metal working.
As you go through these pictures, look closely because many of these products are custom built solutions by a fabricator for a specific purpose. There are many examples in the pictures of grapple buckets, tree shears, hay balers, conveyors, hoppers, sprayers, etc.
Can’t figure out that hinge, latch, or design on your project? Looking at other projects and people’s ideas really helps sometimes. Many solutions and ideas that people have implemented on these tools you can re-purpose for your own project.
I have no affiliation with the Western Farm Show. I went to it for the second time this year and really enjoyed myself, so I thought I would share some pictures. I got to spend time with my family and see some cool equipment. If you missed it this year, be sure to check it out next year, February 23-25 2018.
