Despite being on the struggle bus this year, I have actually made a lot of progress! Just about finished framing, plowed some giant snow drifts, broke some things, fixed some things, and got the exterior lighting finished.
Death by 1,000 details. We have reached the point where I am doing a lot but it doesn’t look like much. Check out the progress for updates on framing, dirt work, and finishing up a couple of projects.

Finally concrete! In this post we cover the concrete pour and final results of the new driveway. Also, I drag home some more projects and a new (to me) tow rig!
We bring in the big(er) guns to work on the final grade, septic riser, and trenching for gutter drains. There will be a large driveway and we need to make sure there is enough drainage to get all the water out and away from the foundation and septic systems.

Moving stuff in and starting to frame out the full bathroom! I share some valuable lessons that I learned while teaching myself how to frame a wall. I made some newbie mistakes, but I think it will work out in the end.
Today we finish up installing the foam, staple down the PEX tubing for the radiant heat, and set up the manifold. Also, the plumbers rough in for the shower, toilet, and sink!
