Adding wall mounted fans, an exhaust fan, finishing up insulation and now ready for sheetrock! I went with some cool and different ideas for ventilation in the shop that might be worth checking out. Read on for more!
Continuing the adventure on finishing out the shop. We painted the house to match, started hanging insulation, added more drainage, an inadequate portable air conditioner and spotted one (tiny) wild animal.
I got a 2015 Ford Expedition EL about 6 months ago. I absolutely love it but ever since I got it, I have had nowhere to put my tools that I usually carry with me. Most of the solutions I found were either really expensive or not practical for what […]
Despite being on the struggle bus this year, I have actually made a lot of progress! Just about finished framing, plowed some giant snow drifts, broke some things, fixed some things, and got the exterior lighting finished.
Death by 1,000 details. We have reached the point where I am doing a lot but it doesn’t look like much. Check out the progress for updates on framing, dirt work, and finishing up a couple of projects.
Making some HUGE progress. More final grading, framing the walls, and (more) electricity! Check this post out for lots of pictures and some stuff I screwed up along the way.
Getting the new plasma cutter set up! Had to figure out how to get my air compressor up 8ft onto the mezzanine (it was interesting for sure). I also got the plasma table fixed and added a video for knowing which kind of proximity switch to buy PNP or NPN […]
Midwest Krawlers grouped together and built an awesome lunch/hangout shelter then did some wheeling! Had a great wheeling trip earlier this month after an initial hiccup while loading up that was almost bad.
So it begins. A new chapter in the shop saga. I have wanted a CNC plasma FOREVER and recently found one on Marketplace and drug it home! Check out the full post for more details on the process and what it took to get it working.
Finally concrete! In this post we cover the concrete pour and final results of the new driveway. Also, I drag home some more projects and a new (to me) tow rig!
We bring in the big(er) guns to work on the final grade, septic riser, and trenching for gutter drains. There will be a large driveway and we need to make sure there is enough drainage to get all the water out and away from the foundation and septic systems.
Picture dump! Lots of progress and projects since the last update. This time we get electrical, trenching, drainage, and I drag a bunch of junk home from FB Marketplace!
Cinder blocks are good for starters, but eventually it is nice to move on to real, sturdy beehive stands. This is the second version of hive stands for my friend that has bees as a hobby. Check out this post to see how I built a batch of them with […]
Finally, the last part of the rock slider build! Lets finish them up and see what they look like completed. The goal is to have some beefy nerf bars we can use to rub against rocks and still be able to open the doors after a long day of wheeling!
Transferring from wheelchairs to taller vehicles like trucks and vans can sometimes be challenging due to differences in height. Wheelchair users cannot slide across using a transfer board and grab handles like they can with a car. This is a custom platform solution we came up with to put the […]
